Poem: Kitty Litter
66
I look at you with disgust,
cause you fed me tinned food last night,
and now I am squatting in my tray,
grunting with all my might.
Don't blame me for the smell,
you should have bought scented litter,
and fed me succulent meat cuts,
now I am a proficient shitter.
Because I am a fluffy cat,
my poo has stuck to me,
hanging from underneath my tail,
like baubles on a Christmas tree.
You call them my ass trophy’s,
but I don't look at it like that.
Is it still so funny,
when I scrap them off on your mat?
Yes I’ll drag my backside,
across the floor, every inch,
call it a cat food buying lesson,
for when you penny pinch.
And as I squat in this litter tray,
with kitty litter between my paws,
I am thinking my next toilet stop,
will be on that bed of yours.

Sodium bentonite is not only used for cat litter it is also used for other purposes like exploration drilling, construction and civil form work preparation, foundries for assisting casting methods, stock feed , dam sealing and wine clarification.
Although sodium bentonite excavation for cat litter seems like an environmental disaster when you think of all the other uses for the material it is quite versatile. Also in most countries where sodium bentonite is mined there are strict rejuvenation processes in place where native trees and grasses have to be replanted when the mine has finished excavating the earth.

Howdy!
I used to have a Persian like your copper peke nose and the kitty litter was always a mess.
My poor kitty had to have his little behind shaved when I brought him to the groomer and it helped trememdously
Your poem said it like it is and surely will give the next person who wants a persian an indoor cat using kitty litter a yes or a no

This is great. I don't usually read poetry, but when I saw it was about kitty litter I had to check it out. Very funny and well written. It is a shame I'm allergic to cats, because I'm pretty sure I'd love to have one.
